The production of kosher products
started in 1934 with the KOSHER SLIVOVITZ AGED 5 YEARS, which was successfully exported to the United States after the end of Prohibition. This slivovitz has become world-renowned as a result and remains the most well-known kosher spirit in our portfolio even today. It comes in a metal case, lending it an air of exclusivity.
It is a clear spirit with a slightly sweet, almond-like aroma of plum pits, which does not overwhelm its fruity character. Its five-year ageing process and traditional production processes give it a delicate, fruity flavour, slightly reminiscent of almonds due to the pits left in the mash.
Serving temperature depends on the occasion. When served before a meal as an aperitif, it must be chilled; when served after as a digestif, it should not be.
Kosher slivovitz is best enjoyed with a piece of dried plum on a toothpick.
4 cl Slivovitz kosher, 3 cl lemon juice, 2 cl sugar syrup, 1 tsp. vanilla sugar, 1 egg white
Mix all ingredients in a shaker and pour into a glass.
