R. JELÍNEK SLIVOVITZ KOSHER AGED 5 YEARS – GOLD

A golden colour, a fragrance close to cognac, and a harmonious fruity flavour with a distinctive woody undertone.

Gold kosher slivovitz

first came about as a result of the Jelínek brothers’ experience with brandy production, which they started in 1923 in collaboration with the French cognac maker Denis Mounié. This experience with cognac production enabled the creation of a production method that would bring the traditional fruit spirit closer to the world-renowned cognac. The distillate of a ripe plum mash is aged for five years in oak vats, made from sessile oak wood, which has an ideal composition for the distillate ageing process. This gives the spirit its gold colour, an aroma close to that of cognac, and a harmonious fruity flavour with a distinctive woody undertone.

Slivovitz should be served at room temperature: only then can it fully develop its aroma and flavour, allowing you to fully enjoy the work of Vizovice’s distillers.
