Our portfolio has included kosher products since the 1930s – Rudolf Jelínek began exporting them in 1934 to the United States and other countries with great success. Kosher spirits are produced in accordance with the guidelines of the Jewish faith – no raw materials, equipment, or processes used during production are incompatible with the principles of Judaism. A rabbi personally oversees each individual phase of production – from the selection of the best varieties of plums and pears in an advanced stage of ripeness to the handling of the mash to distillation and bottling. Fermentation and ageing takes place in tanks sealed by a rabbi. The entire production process then receives the hechsher certification, which signifies conformity with the requirements of the halakha.
